Flat head

My son is two and half months and his head is looking a little pointy, flat on the back. He sleeps with his head on the side but was sleeping for two weeks in his car seat, he had rsv. Any suggestions? During the day he is in the bouncy sometimes not a lot. As a newborn he was sleeping in a rock n play.

My DD ended up with a helmet to correct her flat spot. LOTs of tummy time- I was bad about making her do it, because she hated it. Different positions when you lay him down to sleep. I am not sure about those infant head holders, but you should look into them.

I don't have this problem but check out tortel.com I just saw a segment on a local station about these hats to help correct this issue.

My first son had this. We did a lot of tummy time and when we could watch him sleep, rolled up a towel from keeping him from laying on that side. My Dr said that as time went on and he was on his back less and less it would resolve. I panicked about it, but the Dr was right. It evened itself out as he got older.

JJ has a little bit of a flat back of the head at 4 months of age. His pedi brought it up at his appt this past week. Just increase tummy time.

My girl also takes her morning nap in her moby wrap, which means her head is free for a good hour or two at least but my arms are still free for chores, etc. she is starting to get bigger but I feel like it helps not for her to always be on her back or in her swing
