yesterday a noticed a lot of redness on DD's vagina, and she suddenly has kind of a strong smell going on. i called her pediatricians office and took her in in the afternoon. Her pediatrician (who i love!) took one look and said "oh thats totally normal!" But i have never seen her red like this, it doesnt look normal to me. Her doc said she might have scratched herself or the soap in the bathtub could have irritated her. Both possibilities but doesnt really explain the sudden change in smell.....she said to bring her back if its not better in a few days. Its still the same this morning so i plan on calling for an appt monday if there is no change. i was thinking she had a yeast infection and i hate to ignore it if thats what it is. Anybody experience the same thing with their DD?

    No noticeable smell, but she has been red a few times.

    No smell. But DD had an awful rash and recommended Lotrimin (anti fungal, in foot care area). She said to put on (outside) 3x a day for 7-10 days, and continue with diaper cream too.

    i went through the something a week ago and iv found that it was the juice she had been drinking, it was making her urine stronger and was irritating her lady parts, so now i water down her juice. the redness went away and the smell isn't as strong.
