DaVinci Crib- Mattress Fit Help

For anyone who bought a DaVinci crib, what mattress did you get and how does it fit? I finally got our DaVinci Rivington crib together today, which I love, but my mattress (Sealy Baby Firm) leaves a gap in the front that doesn't pass the 2 finger test, when I push it all the way back. Grr.

I have been looking all over online and its hard to find info on this. The mattresses that DaVinci makes are a tiny bit bigger but I don't know if it will make that much of a difference. Urgh. Any advice?

Thanks. I'm wondering if it will fit better once I put a mattress pad on it. The length is great but the depth doesn't seem long enough.

Measure the mattress. When we bought our first one, we found it was an inch or two short so we returned it. We brought a tape measure with us and found the mattresses were all slightly different even though they were supposed to be standard size.

We have the DaVinci Emily crib, and got a Sealy Soybean Foamcorenbsp;mattress. Once I put the on waterproof mattress sheet and the crib sheet on, the fit was pretty snug.

We have the same mattress but with the DaVinci Parker crib. Fits great!
