Hello all! I am new to posting here but have been lurking. I had a m/c and d&c in December. This is my 2nd cycle but first to chart and take opk test. I am currently on CD 10 and I got up this morning to test and I had a smiley face. I thought that was kind of wierd because my cycles are 30-32 days long. So, of course hubby and I took care of business and when I woke back up a few hours later I took another one for curiosity and it was negative. So, I am not confident in this cycle now icon_sad.gif What do you all think? Thanks in advance!

    Honestly that does seem a bit early in your cycle to be getting a smiley face. I used the clear blue digital opks last month got a smiley face and then 3 days later got another smiley face. I would recommend looking into temping. The opks are great for predicting ovulation but sometimes your body can gear up to ovulate and not.
    Tempting would confirm ovulation with a temp shift. Fertilityfriend.com has tons of useful information you can use for charting your fertility.
    IMO your body likely geared up to O and didn't. Or your cycle will be shorter this month.

    BFP 7/5/13 ~EDD 3/17/14 - MC 7/22/13

    DX PCOS 9/17/13 - Cyst on left ovary benched on BCP

    10/12/13 Cyst is gone starting cycle #1 Femara - U/S shows no response

    11/19/13 Large cyst on right ovary. Benched again.

    12/18/13 2 cm cyst still on my right ovary. Back to BCP. 

    1/10/14 start femara 5mg for 10 days

    I don't use the digital ones, so you will have to see if some of the other ladies can confirm, but I have seen people asking questions similar to this before and I think that it can take a while to learn your body in the beginning. If this is your first cycle using it, it might need to learn for a bit before it is accurate.

    That happened to me last month except I was on CD16. Got a smiley face around 3pm then a couple hours later it was negative. I'd keep peeing if I were you.
