First appointment and zofran question

I had my first appointment yesterday. It went well. They found the heartbeat on the Doppler ASAP but then lost I so I got a quick u/s. the baby was squirming all over the place. My last lo didn't move at my 9 to 10 week u/s so I never to a good look at what these little gummy bears faces look like. Aliens!!!! It looked like an alien! A cute alien though.

I needed fluids and iv zofran but I'm feeling a bit better thanks to all that. They have me on quick dissolve zofran now. It's disgusting. I had been on pull Zofran and Reglan before.

So my question who else is on dissolve zofran and what are you doing a about taste. It makes me gag and dry heave.

    I don't like the taste either, but it quickly dissolves and then I drink a small bit of water.

    I couldn't stand the dissolve Zofran, I puked from it almost immediately. If you think you could keep a pill down, ask for the normal pill - just know it doesn't take effect as quickly as the dissolvable so you really need to stay on top of your schedule. I ended up getting a zofran pump, and while it's clunky and I hate poking myself everyday, it works like a charm. I hope you feel better soon!!
