Hello Ladies,
I have been reading some of your posts in search of answers, and I really have not found one that i found matched my situation completely. So here is goes. I started my period on the 24th of January and my husband and I ttc on the 5th of February. (12 days later) We just figured this was my ovulation date. Then on the 12th, I woke up with severe abdominal pains on my right side. It woke me from my sleep and I was awake with it for a little over an hour. The next day on the 13th, I started spotting in the morning, but it turned into a bright red flow by the end of the night and lasted for 4 days followed by 3 more days of spotting. Towards the end of this early period, I started wiping stringy discharge. I have a 28 day cycle and if I am early or late, it is only by a day. So I was supposed to start my period by the 21st, and now it is the end of the 22nd and still no period. All pregnancy tests came up negative. I have been feeling a little tired and a little hungrier than normal, but really no other pregnancy symptoms. I have been diagnosed with fibroid tumors and they have never effected my cycle. Have any of you had these symptoms, or know what is going on with me. My doc cannot see me for another week because he is on Vacation. I'm sure its nothing serious, but the anticipation is killing me. i have had some cramping along with all of this and I usually do not cramp at all. Also, I usually have a heavy flow with clots, and this one was a medium flow in comparison with no clots.
I guess my questions are is the bleeding implantation bleeding or early period?
what is the deal with the stringy discharge?
what was the deal with the severe pain?
Thanks a bunch for any advise.
Re: Early Period?
Are you just coming off birth control?
I don't think we can tell you what the bleeding and cramping was. It could've been any number of things. I dunno that your doctor will be able to tell you a week from now either.
I do suggest charting though so you don't have to guess when you should have sex.

I have never been on birth control
But with that being said, I guess you just have to remember its possible you had a wacky cycle.
I think if there is any lingering issue your doctor might find it. But it could've just been a fluke...breakthrough bleeding.
You should definitely look into charting though. GL.

Thanks for your advise ladies.
If anyone has had a similar situation as mine and still came up pregnant, I would really be interested in knowing your story
From what I have read, implantation bleeding is never bright red. Also, if you bled for 4 days and spotted for 3 it seems more like AF.
I had always had clockwork cycles then the past 3 months since TTC have had a couple shorter ones with periods only lasting a day or two. I thought it could have been implantation too started out as a rust color then later the bright red appeared. It is most likely just an off cycle IMO.
This post makes it seem like you're fishing for us to go "squee you're totes preggers!"
None of us can see into your body to tell you what's going on, and obviously none of us so far have had the experience you're looking for to confirm what you're hoping. We've given you our honest opinions, but they seem to not be what you want to hear and you're just being dismissive of them all. We get this kind of fishing all the time and it's tiresome, so yes, you're coming off a bit like a villain here, if you won't accept our advice as given, there's nothing more we can do for you.

I'm not a doctor, but I can play one on the internet since you insist. As nobody here can see into your ute or accurately diagnose you - I'll just pick a random diagnosis. You had a wonky cycle and will have to wait and see what happens this time.
I was going to go with lupus at first, but then decided to just repeat what I said early on in the post. Maybe repetition is key here. Or I play a really good doctor on the internet.
Several things...
Your post came off as a fishing post.
In the future you might want to consider posting questions like the one above in 1st Tri because they are alreadey pregnant and maybe have experienced something similar with their BFP.
This site is full of amazing women with great advice but they will not shower you with giltter and rainbows. So if you can not handle the snark then it might not be for you. Lurk, read the newbie blog and if you decide to stay I'm sure we will happy to have you.
