Dress Me

I have a work event in 2 weeks (I work in radio). A lot of our clients will be there and it's an awards event where we will be honoring local heros and the event will benefit the Wounded Warrior Project. I'm putting together a lot of the event.

First...should I wear a suit or a dress? Second, any recomendations? I'm about 5'3" have a big chest and my stomach is not quite back at pre baby stomach...because that's where I usually hold weight. I'm considering buying something online because shopping is a PIA. I typically shop at Kohls because I have trouble putting outfits together myself.

Any help would be appreciated. I'd like to put something together for around $150 and be able to wear it again.

Since its an awards type of event, I would go with a dress. Personally, I think a suit would be more appropriate if it were a more business oriented event. An appropriate dress would make you look classy and elegant, exactly what someone organizing this type of event should look like. I'll see what I can find online to recommend for you.

What about a wrap dress like this one? I have one and I LOVE it. I'm 5 foot 4 and have a big chest. They're nice because they accent your waist, you can wear a supportive bra and even add a camisole underneath if you want more modesty.

I would wear a dress. I would do something midlength and not full length since you are shorter. I am trying to find something to minimize your chest (and capable of holding them), plus a good waist line to cover your discomfort area. Do you want something in a neutral or are you looking into color?

Little black dress will never steer you wrong. Maybe with nude heels? I've had a lbd for 15 years and it still looks great. I have no idea what size you are, but I went to Nordstoms site, typed in lbd and found these

lbd may be a good option for me. I want to look nice, but I also want to be subtle and not stand out too much. Thanks for ideas ladies!
