So we have boy girl twins with weight discrepancy. Baby boy N is now between nine and a half and ten lbs at 7 wks and baby girl S who had iugr is probably between 7 and a half and 8.
Question is N is now able to sleep a little longer after breastfeeding followed by a couple ounces supplement of formula. He probably could have gone 5 or five and a half hours the other night but we had to keep waking him because S was waking every 3 to 3 and a half still. Sometimes she can stretch to 4, but we are still waking him and its counterintuitive bc he barely eats. He is so sleepy and possibly still full. So then by the time I get him back down and settled, poor thing wakes up and hour later or hour and a half really hungry. Then, cue S waking up because he's crying, plus then I have the light on to burp and change him. What do other MoMs do with twins who have 2lbs weight difference? Is there something we can be doing better? Sleeping in separate rooms? Please help! Thank you....
