My boys are six months old. I would love to know about your days and schedules! What do you do with kids throughout day? Thanks!!! Also, any tips for transitioning to cribs??
It's slightly different every day but for the most part we follow EASY.
7 a.m. wake, change clothes and diapers, tandem breastfeed. Then hang out in bouncers in front of the tv (usually looney tunes!) while I get ready for the day. They'll go down for the first nap pretty quick, usually by 8 or 8:30. Then they'll sleep until 10 or 11, sometimes later, sometimes earlier. Then feed and play until someone yawns or rubs her eyes. Then down for naps again around noon or 1. Nap for 1 or 2 hours. Feed, play, and one more nap for the day around 4 or 5, then they'll go to bed for the night around 9.
Whoops, I didn't write about activities. Mine are a bit younger so I will probably not be any help in that department. Right now we practice rolling, hang out in bumbos or high chairs, play with toys while sitting in the bouncers.

This is us almost exactly at 6 months except our boys are done with nap #3 between 3:30-4 and go down for the night at 7. They get really overtired so to avoid meltdowns we do bedtime around this time.
Thanks for the replies! We have been having a hard time with naps lately. How do you get them down to nap? Are they in cribs? Same room? I feel like I spend all day trying to get them to nap!
We have such a hard time with naps. It drives me nuts, so I can relate. I have no words of wisdom. We're still trying to figure out what will work. They sleep in the same room in their own crib. One sleeps very well through the night, but tends to wake up early, like 430/5am. And the other one tends to wake up in the middle of the night & is unable to soothe himself back to sleep. Anyways @ 8 months old, our day-to-day routine normally falls within these parameters:
5-6am wake time
fresh diapers, clothes, bottle feed
playtime -- 1 in pack n play, 1 in exersaucer; playtime with both on floormat
Nap attempt #1
fresh diapers, solids, breastfeed
playtime, walk, or mommy's errands
Nap attempt #2
fresh diapers, solids, breastfeed
playtime, or walk depending on mommy's energy level
Nap attempt #3
fresh diapers, bottle feed
playtime
depending on how naps went, pjs + bedtime routine
6-7pm bedtime
The awake time & bed time usually remain the same. The rest of the day varies depending on naps.
Re: Please share your day!
My twins aren't here yet but I remember this post from a few days ago. A few people posted schedules for their 4-6 month olds
