Updates/Appointments: 36 week apointment with 1st internal was Wednesday. Dr said my cervix was still very high which was fine, baby can keep baking away.
How are you feeling? I had to lay down for about 25 minutes after my shower this morning bc of some really bad cramping but then it lightened up and went away. Other than that it's just the usual aches and tiredness.
Whats on your baby to do list for this week? I have 2 more loads of hand me down clothes to wash, other than that I'm ready to go. My gf's informed me at lunch today they had a private, obnoxious gift for baby and I and that it needed to come to my house bc it would be a pain at the hospital so now I'm curious.
GTKY: What is something you are looking forward to eating/drinking once LO arrives? The biggest plate of ahi tuna sashimi that I can get my hands on, along with a mimosa or strawberry daquiri with a sugar rim mmmmmmm
Updates/Appointments: one last appt on Tuesday, but induction due to pre e Friday!!!
How are you feeling? Anxious, scared, relieved, excited, ready.
Whats on your baby to do list for this week? Everything is done really. Bags are packed, car seat installed, nursery ready, clothes and blankets washed and put away. I guess I'll spend the week spoiling myself until my induction!
GTKY: What is something you are looking forward to eating/drinking once LO arrives? A Margarita, omg!
Updates/Appointments: I had my 36 week appointment yesterday and I'm 2cm and 65% effaced. I also gained 3lbs in a week. Eek!
How are you feeling? Not too bad, but not too good either. Definitely feeling achy and lazy.
Whats on your baby to do list for this week? I have a lot I want to get wrapped up for work. I brought some home to do this weekend but I doubt I'll get to it.
GTKY: What is something you are looking forward to eating/drinking once LO arrives? I haven't really cut much out and I'm not a big drinker. I am looking forward to going to a sushi buffet after the baby and eating whatever I want, raw or not.
Updates/Appointments: had my first internal yesterday and nothing is happening but when I went for my u/s today we found out the baby flipped!!!! We are so excited. I'm hoping she doesn't turn back.
How are you feeling? really good. getting up a lot more in the middle of the night but that's it
Whats on your baby to do list for this week? finish decorating baby room and show DH where I stored everything. We still need to sterilize her bottles.
GTKY: What is something you are looking forward to eating/drinking once LO arrives? A big glass of red wine. And prosciutto.
Updates/Appointments: Had an OB appt. this week and tested negative for GBS - yay! We finally had our first birth class and it was informative. LO did fine for the NSTs this week.
How are you feeling? Getting more BH contractions. I can feel one as I type this. Cough is now in week 7 - doc thinks it might be acid reflux and I am hoping it will go away with LOs birth. Other major issue is swollen ankles. Thankfully it is warm enough to wear sandals.
Baby to do items: Finish packing the hospital bag, thank you notes (I have been procrastinating because of numb hands), get my classroom ready to transition to my long term sub - next Friday is my last day - WOOHOO!
GTKY: A rare roast beef sandwich, a medium rare steak, bacon and a tall glass of sangria!

BFP #1 - 1/15/12, EDD 9/21/12, Missed M/C - 2/10/12 - I miss you Sapphire!
BFP #2 - 7/1/12 - Met my lucky charm Alexandra on 3-16-13!!!
Updates/Appointments: At my appointment yesterday I was 0cm dialated and baby is still breech. My bp is starting to creep up, so I am keeping an eye on that. In good news, I tested negative for GBS! I was positive with E, so that's a nice change of pace.
How are you feeling? Anxious for LO to spin. It's all I think about these days, I am terrified of the c-section.
Whats on your baby to do list for this week? I should probably pack my hospital bag at some point. My cord blood collection kit also arrived (public donation) and there is some paperwork I need to fill out. Eh, I've got plenty of time to do these things right? I can't figure out why I am so unmotivated.
GTKY: What is something you are looking forward to eating/drinking once LO arrives? I haven't given up much outside of cocktails, so I can't wait to have one (or several)
