He's been perfecting his walking over the past 2 weeks and subsequently it's been near impossible to get him down at night without a lot of crying and up and down in the crib. Anyone else?
Ian isn't walking yet, so I can't attest to walking changing things. However, when Ian learned to sit up on his own, geez that was a nightmare for naps and bed time for a while. When he learned to crawl, geez, that was another crazy time for a while for naps and bed time. I'd say that it lasted for a couple of weeks, almost like 'til the newness of it wore off. Then he went back to normal habits. I'd bet it could be the same for walking as well...though he does pull up and walk holding onto things, and does so in the crib so it may not change too much with this new task when it comes. But I could see it being an issue, like other things were, for a time period. Hopefully, once he's got the task down pat, and it's not so new anymore, he'll go back to his regular routine. Then all you have to look forward to is when he learns to climb out, lol!
