Miscarrying

At least, I'm pretty sure I am. Today would've been 17dpo. Last night I had heavy cramping and light spotting, so I though AF was coming. Since my temps had dropped, it made sense. I took 3 aleve which still didn't make a dent in the cramping, and as with a normal period, AF got a bit heavier (but not heavy). I wouldn't have even considered taking my last hpt (neg tests at 10 and 13 dpo), except for the fact that I've been nauseated for a week. I know it can be a pms symptom, so I didn't really think anything of it in the first couple of days. But today it was really bad and my morning temp had spiked back up. Against my better judgment, I took the last hpt. It's positive. And the bleeding is getting worse, and the cramping hasn't stopped. Is this what a chemical pregnancy feels like?

I'm so shocked it was positive. I really wasn't expecting it to be. I don't know what to feel except frustration and sadness. And I wonder if it's my fault that the bleeding got worse because I took the aleve.

This sucks.

I'm sorry, LV. It does sound like you are experiencing a CP. Some spotting or bleeding is normal, but not usually enough to fill a pad or tampon. Take it easy the next few days, (((Hugs)))

Please don't put this on your shoulders thinking it is your fault. Ask your dr what kind of pain relief you can use or do in the future just so you wont get nervous about taking a pill or something.

Sorry for your loss, it does suck. I'll be praying for you!
