Is this normal?

During the third trimester, I've had lower back pain right above my bum.  But, today it's really bad and I have a tingly sensation all down my right leg.  It almost feels numb.  Walking has been really difficult.  Anyone else have this?  Should I call the doctor or just suffer it out?

    Sounds like sciatica to me. I get it all the time when pregnant. I don't think there is much they can do for you, although I have heard going to a chiropractor can help.

    This. The baby is probably sitting on the nerve. Pelvic tilts might help.

    I have had this for most of my 3rd trimester - today is particularly bad for me too! 

    I agree- sounds like sciatica. Sorry, doc said there is not much you can do!

    I do pelvic rocks and use the heating pad for relief.

    Don't suffer!  Go to a chiropractor!  I had that and it was my SI joint shifting out of place.  One twist and the chiro put it back and the pain was GONE.

    stretch! honestly it will hurt while stretching but it does help a lot. Pelvic rocks are great, and just swaying back and forth while standing, keeping my hips and legs still, just moving my back feels great.

    It very well could be sciatica, but it could also be what happened to me. My pelvis fell out of alignment. When I finally made it to the chiro my left leg was over half an inch longer than the right. I had no idea. The chiro, ice, and menthol are the only things that helped. Hope you get better soon!
