Still in shock...BFP

I still can't believe that I saw what I saw. I had a feeling on Sunday and bought a few HPTs and got BFNs on all of them. AF was due on Wednesday...POAS and nothing. Yesterday no AF and in the morning POAS nothing. Last night on the way home I had to stop one more time at the drug store and buy a few more just to see. POAS and got a BFP on 3 tests. Took one more this morning and got the same thing. I just got back from the doctor for my blood test. She said if she hears anything tomorrow she will call if not I will know those results by Monday. But 4 HPTs can't be wrong can they?

I haven't posted much ladies but just reading your posts have really helped me learn so much! Thank you!

     TTC since August 2011, Me = 40, DH = 38
    Unexplained IF. Tried Clomid for 3 cycles. All BFNs. BFP 1/6/13. Chemical pregnancy.

    Moving on to IVF#1. ER 11/26/13, 16 eggs retreived, 12 mature and all fertilized. 2 blasts transferred on 12/1. All other embies arrested so nothing left to freeze. Beta 12/10 = BFN. IVF #2 March 2014. BFP!!! TEAM BLUE!!!

    1st tri is on the left. It would have been a much more appropriate place for this post in the first place.

    I was going to say the same thing, but it's already been done. Nothing like waiting till 8 weeks like everybody else right?

     

    Oddly enough, my OB's office wanted me to have a blood test done before they would schedule my first appointment. It was 'standard office policy'. I have no idea if OP did it on her own or not, just figured I'd throw it out there.

    That's great news. For you. Not so much for the rest of us. I haven't been on TB long enough to form any relationships, after all we ARE behind our computer screens. However, it is imperative that you have a little more discretion in how you present information like this to women who have been TTC for months/years and in various unpleasant circumstances. If you had posted more and had some sort of participation instead of lurking in the background, MAYBE we would be more happy for you. This just leaves a bad taste in my mouth, and I just had some kickass Thai food. So have a nice time in 1st tri, and hopefully you understand why your post was unnecessary and misplaced.

    I think it actually depends on the OB practice. Mine has you come in for a confirmation blood test once you call to tell them you got a BFP. Then they schedule you to come in for your 1st appt around 8 weeks.

    But yeah....as others said, this should've posted on 1st tri, OP. Congrats anyway.
