I was hoping to not have a c section but she isn't turning and the doctor said she doesn't have room to turn at this point. She is 6lbs 2oz! Her tentative birth date (we could go at anytime per the doc) is now March 15th and we go in at 8am... Anyone else have a scheduled c section? Isn't this surreal?! I'm so excited and nervous!!

Re: Scheduled C Section :(
I'm lurking from April, but I just wanted to share with you that when I was pregnant with my twins, they continued to flip from breech to head down right up until 38 weeks. In fact, at 37 weeks, one of them was breech so they scheduled my c-section (possible induction if baby flipped) for the following week. I asked for an ultrasound the morning I went in to the hospital, and sure enough, baby had flipped and both were head down! And that was with twins who each weighed OVER seven pounds, so if they had room to flip, yours certainly does! I ended up having a vaginal birth for both.
Just wanted to encourage you to maybe ask for a last minute ultrasound before you go in for the section, because you never know! But if it is a section, that's okay! Healthy baby is all that matters!
I appreciate the support but I have half a uterus and that's why there's no room
But I am totally with ya on healthy is all that matters! I'm just so excited to meet her but major surgery is sooo scary

I'm a total newb on medical abbreviations. What is an RCS and VBAC? Yay on same possible birth date!!

We are at 37 weeks and had a c-section scheduled as well because Baby has been breech and doctor didn't think he would turn. I did acupuncture on Wednesday and Voila! Baby is now turned & head down! I'm still prepared for a CS, if needed. Just want our LO to arrive safely!
Yep, c/s for me. This is my first (and only) and I have uncontrolled type-1 diabetes so my OB doesn't want to do an induction for fear my sugar levels will be too hard to control. I have an amnio scheduled for March 25 at 37+3 and if LO's lungs are ready she's coming out that week....unless she has her own plan, of course. : )
I honestly don't really care how they get her out of there as long as there is no additional risk to LO.
