We have a heartbeat!...but now I have a cold.

in 1st Trimester

After low hormone levels back on the labs, the little guy proved us wrong and he's/she's alive and chillin' in his/her little floating chamber with the little heart just beating away!

Trouble is now I have a cold and have our engagement party to go to tomorrow! Booo! How do you ladies take care of your headache and sore throat glands with a little one growing? I know Tylenol is ok, what other home remedies would you have?

    Ocean nasal spray, cough drops, humidifier, lots of rest!!  Feel better and yay for the good news.

    gargling warm water with salt works wonders (salt kills infection) and hot/boiling water with 2tbs of honey and 2 tbs of lemon juice - soothes the throat and also helps to kill the bacteria
