Just wondering.. is anyone else out there drinking coffee? I stick to 1 cup a day (usually in the afternoon while DD naps) but I already had one this morning with my hubby over breakfast and am now craving a second cup.
I try to drink enough water to offset the diuretic effect of the caffeine... they are regular size mugs of dripped coffee from my 1-cup machine, not jumbo mugs or anything...
Re: Coffee?
I have 16 oz every morning (since morning sickness faded).
It's fine. Up to 300 mg of caffeine a day is safe, and that's a conservative line. The main risk of too much caffeine is first trimester miscarriage, which seems pretty unlikely as we're past first tri.
Some people like to torture themselves "just in case". I'm not one of them.

Patiently waiting for little brother!
And I don't have a single ounce of guilt or anxiety about it.
ETA limiting myself on the weekends is by FAR the hardest pregnancy restriction for me. I'm used to drinking it allllllllllllll morning and early afternoon.

I'm not a coffee drinker, but I love Dr. Pepper. This is an article that you may find useful: https://www.webmd.com/baby/news/20100721/moderate-coffee-drinking-ok-in-pregnancy
Most OBs will tell you that it's fine in moderation. You can ask yours if you are having doubts. I wouldn't worry about a moderate amount of caffeine.
I have two cups a day. One first thing in the morning and a second during nap time.
I use the K-cups. I'm not sure how many ounces each cup is, but it's pretty standard...probably 8.
I drank a lot more caffeine when I was pregnant with DS. I was just so exhausted all.the.time. It's funny because I continued to drink my normal amount of coffee when I was nursing him because I figured he was already used to it.
Needless to say, he never seemed to have any sleeping problems as a result of drinking caffeinated breast milk!
