Betas can't predict multiples. That being said, my betas were higher and rose quicker with the twins than with DS. My beta at 15dp3dt with a singleton was in the mid 500's. With the twins my beta at 15dp3dt was 1663. It is really difficult to compare with your numbers and doubling times because you didn't say when your blood draws were. Have you been on betabase.info? You can compare your numbers with other singleton, twin, etc pregnancies. When you transfer two embryos you always have a chance of multiples so I wouldn't be surprised if you are looking at twins. I have seen ladies transfer two embryos and have one split, but that is rare. Good luck at your u/s!
Unexplained Infertility
After two Clomid cycles, three injectable IUI cycles, two IVFs, two miscarriages, and one lap surgery, IVF #2 has brought us our little boy!
TTC #2 After months of being postponed or cancelled, FET #1.3 (Natural FET) brought us twin girls!
I only had one done before my first u/s and it was 7990 which wouldve placed me at 7-8 weeks when I was really only 5 when it was drawn. Every pregnancy is different and numbers can be and will be different with each as well. When is your u/s?
The clinic thought was a singleton!! Then started spotting and cramping, took another HCG around 5 weeks and was at 32K or something like that!!
Did an u/s mid 5th week found ONE little sac. Still spotting and cramping....6wk6day u/s was 2 sacs with 2 fetuses!!! Omg was I shocked!!!!
615 at 14dpIUI and 1280 at 16dpIUI. So they started off high but doubled normally. My nurse did make a comment that it could be more than one, although obviously we had higher chances since we did FSH with IUI and I had 3 mature follies.
Re: HCG levels initially?
I agree, results vary. But for me, I more than quadrupled when my numbers should have doubled!!
That is what you are doing....but dont count on anything yet.
Videos of telling my family and husbands family that we are preggo...with twins!

Lost our first little peanut on 1/17/2012 at 9 weeks and 5 days. We miss you little blessing, but we know you were too perfect for this world.

HCG levels do not predict multiples.
Mine were actually on the low side and didn't double in 48 hours....

My blood draws were:
2/11: 131
2/14: 848
2/18: 4831
So each time there more than doubled. Ultrasound is scheduled for tomorrow. Just nervous b/c I already have a 3.5 and 1.5 at home!

This. I only had one blood draw though because they just used it to make sure I was pregnant. It was 125.
Yes, knowing how many days past ovulation would help on your numbers.
Mine was 488 for my first draw at 14dpo. We transferred three embryos.
At 18dpo, it was 2500, which more than quadrupled. We only did the two betas.
