Hi everyone,
I am 27wks 6 days pregnant with B/G twins, and I have a few questions-
1) At my appointment this week, the US tech said both babies were breech with their little bottoms facing down (basically folded in half with their feet up by their faces). My understanding is that there is still plenty of time for them to change positions in the next 8-9 weeks, right?
2) Also, I am being seen at a MFM practice. I was under the impression that since I just had my 28 week appointment, that my appointments would now be every 2 weeks, but the doctor I saw this time said they will start that at 32 weeks. Although my twins are di/di, it is still not a completely uncomplicated pregnancy. Twin A (baby girl) continues to have echogenic bowel found at 24 weeks. Any other di/di moms not start biweekly appointments until 32 weeks?
Any experience of comments appreciated. Thanks!
Re: 28 weeks with some ?s
I had PTL so was going twice a week after 28 weeks.
But my babies flipped constantly right up until the big day at 34 weeks.
Videos of telling my family and husbands family that we are preggo...with twins!
I can only give my experience so far with my triplets (I'm currently 35w2d). One of mine just changed positions during the past week. He was transverse, head left last Thursday and yesterday was transverse, head right. So I think you still have plenty of time for yours to flip.
As for frequency of appts, I only see an MFM and didn't start biweekly appts until 32wks. I have di/tri triplets (id twins and fraternal trip) and that did not change the frequency of appts.

My girls flipped around this last week. The one on the right went from head down to breech. The one on the left went from breech to head down. So they traded. But yes, they can probably still flip.
TTC since May 2006. After 3 failed Clomid cycles, 2 failed Injectibles/IUIs, 2 failed IVFs and 1 failed FET, we moved on to adoption!
Last ditch FET resulted in BFP, and identical twin girls!
I have di/di boys and A is breech, sitting like he's in a hammock along the bottom of my ute, and B is like a bunk bed above my belly button. We already have a csection scheduled, but yes, it is entirely possible for them to flip between now and then. My boys changed positions a few weeks ago and I'm not 100% sure they haven't moved again.
As for the MFM, we were discharged from our MFM at 24 weeks but my OB says biweekly BPPs will begin at 32 weeks with her. We have a growth scan at 30 weeks, then the BPPs start at the following appointment and will be biweekly until delivery.
