Egg white question

Hello everyone! So I do not produce any fertile CM. None on toilet paper and none when I physically check. I tried guaifenesin for the past couple of cycles, and I drink tons of water and still nothing. I was on BC for 6 years but I stopped in September, so maybe it takes a while to produce fertile CM...? Anyways what is your opinion on using actual egg whites right before sex during the fertile window? I've seen some success stories on other forums, but not much on here. I did use PreSeed last cycle but its my understanding that that's more of a lubricant than a substitute for fertile CM. TIA!

This! Also I've read that green tea helps increase fertile cm.

That sounds awful. How about increasing your water intake? Also, are you on any meds that could be drying you up, like an antihistamine?

I drink at least 80 ounces a day. And no I'm not on any meds. It just seems like a lost cause. I'm grossed out by the idea of egg whites also, but I'm pretty desperate so I just wanted some opinions on it.

Are you getting CM of any type? Are you checking internally or just with tissue when you wipe?

Watery CM is fertile as well. EWCM is just the "most" fertile.

The egg white thing made me gag. Please don't do that. Preseed seems like a much better route.

OP, please don't use egg whites. There is no subsitute for cervical mucous, especially not food products. If you need a lubricant, use the Preseed.

TCOYF discusses using real EW for EWCM and it is considered and acceptable thing to do.

That said, I would not. I am not comfortable placing raw eggs into my vagina. I would also step away from using medications other for what they are intended for.

You might want to try the green tea (some women say it works) and continue with your water intake.

If you do use EW would you mind letting me know how it went? I am totally curious about the after effects, if you know what I mean...

I didn't have any my first two cycles so I drank 16 oz of green tea starting on CD 1 by ovulation on CD 18 it was out of control! I will be cutting back on the green tea this month in hopes to keep it down a bit.

I would give green tea a shot and leave the eggs in the fridge.

I'm not sure I could make the leap from describing CM as having an egg white consistency to actually using egg whites.

Use pressed and then read up on the different types of CM. FF has some good info to help you understand about each type and how fertile the CM IS. You will learn you don't have to have EWCM to conceive.
