We are moved in to our new place and loving it! There's so much more room here. Our puppy is with us and is N's new best friend. They are insanely adorable when they play together! It snowed here yesterday and is supposed to keep snowing so I'm staying inside and drinking warm drinks. N has a runny nose and is a little grumpy but we may end up going out to play in the snow later. She keeps running to the windows yelling "snooooow."
I've also started cloth diapering and so far it's really going well. My birthday is coming up and my grandma got me a sewing machine. I plan to sew some inserts for N's new diapers
What did I miss around here? How are you guys doing? Any new babies? Okay go.
Re: I've missed you guys
There isn't anything much cuter than a baby and puppy playing, really. Be sure to post some pics of that around here.
Good to see you back!
I can't find my camera. I don't know where it ended up in the move
Finding it is HIGH on my priority weekend list!
Missy, I am so glad we didn't get as much as was predicted. I think there's more in the forecast early next week. I don't actually mind snow but my car doesn't like it much. Also, I saw H through the window this morning trying to get all of the snow off of his car with the ice scraper so I took the broom out to him and fell right on my butt! The snow just makes my clumsiness clumsier!
As soon as I find my camera I will get take some dog/toddler pics and post em!
How was moving with a LO, I am dreading it!
It was definitely challenging. I basically had to pack while N was napping otherwise she would just unpack everything lol We had friends that watched her some during our moving week. N has a little 4 year old friend that has claimed her as "her baby." This is the family she spent a lot of time with during the week
It would have been close to impossible if we had to watch her and pack and load everything. We also had some guys from church who helped DH do all of the big stuff.
She has really adjusted well though. The first time I put her down for a nap in her bed, in her room, she just sighed, rolled over and went to sleep. With the exception of the past two nights because of her cold, she's only been waking up once a night. This is awesome for her! She loves all of the extra space too.

Burned by the Bear
I've only tried Kawaii and Fuzzibunz. I don't care for the Kawaii too much and really prefer the fuzzibunz. They seem to be trimmer and N is tall and thin. We have them in the medium size and I have them adjusted as small as they go on that size. I bought them gently used on ebay. The most I've paid is $8 but got some for around $5.
I already had some prefolds and about a bajillion flats. I've used those stuffed inside the pocket and she's only leaked once. It was a gerber prefold that leaked and I read they are notorious for leaking. My birthday is next week and my grandma got me a sewing machine for my birthday and I plan to sew some inserts for them. I am still using disposables periodically but not a whole lot. I am washing once a day. I don't have a lot of yet and I really don't plan to get a whole bunch for N because we'll start potty training soon. My goal is not to spend any more on cloth than we'd spend on disposables for her.
Oh and we have a bathroom on the main level but the toilet is leaking so it's shut off right now. If she has a dirty diaper I just take her upstairs and change her in that bathroom. So far it hasn't been a problem but I'm hoping H gets the toilet fixed in the next week or so.
