December 2011 Moms

What are you keeping?

When your little one "makes" stuff at DC or where ever...

Do you keep it all?
Only stuff with their hand/foot prints?
Where do you store it?
Do you have more than one kid?
How long do you keep it for?

I want to keep everything but it's quickly adding up and I'm starting to think I won't be able to keep it all (especially when we add more kids to our family) but I also feel like I can't toss it... so tell me your storing plans?

  • I'm going to start taking pictures of the "best" ones each month and eventually make a shutterfly book. I will still keep a few originals, probably mostly hand prints.  Right now I store them in the kids' keepsake boxes.

We keep special ones that mark growth or a big event. I actually just used about 20 as thank you notes for his birthday gifts. We just added the note to the artwork and signed it. They were a huge hit!!

I love this! What an awesome idea.

Pretty much this.  I keep the "special" things he makes (uh, the teachers make) at DC because most of them have handprints.
