Lucky girl. I thought I pooped once. DH pretended not to notice. When I mentioned it to him, he tried to be kind and told me he saw. He said it happened a couple of times and he say them all. He was so sweet though- said "that's what happens when you push." Buuut my dignity is still long gone.

Partially why I was so mad I had to have a csection. I wanted the pooping in front of everyone experience.

You guys, I ate chocolate, and chocolate has caffeine... will my baby be ok? I threw it up instantly.

Hi, I'm not new, but I don't get to comment a whole lot. I first joined TB in 2009, when I was pregnant with my first little girl. Now DD2 is on the way!

As far as pooping during labor is concerned, ahh yup. Did it. Practically looking forward to doing it again!

Me too, and it's gotten worse for me as time goes on. I'm now glad DS was breech so that I never have to experience having my vag being ripped apart. Nor pooping on the table.

Not new but I also pooped on the table so I wanted to play!

also, wound up with a c-section, while in the hospital I had to haveDH assist me in the restroom because reaching back to wipe hurt. Oh yeah, there is no dignity here.

i only needed help the first time but he Did have to help me pull up my undies for a few days at home.

Contributing to the pooping delivery stories: Before I pooped, I kept farting and apologizing, but I was pushing pretty hard then I pooped. After that I was good to go. No one made a big deal about it.

Not new but just wanted to say as a FTM - pooping on the table is one of my biggest fears. Like that, having a c-section due to complications, and needing an episiotomy - those all are about the same level as pooping on the table for me!

Pooping on the table is way less embarassing then having to page a nurse because you had diahrrhea again, and you need clean sheets. Oh, and the nurse wouldn't come in just for "I need some help." I had to tell her over the intercom what was wrong. .

I'm a FTM and am just going to have to be okay wih pooping on the table if it happens. I convinced my hubby to watch a vag birth video last night for the first time. He is a hunter and field dresses his deer so I kind of though he would take it a lot better. Lol. We decided he would not watch everything going on down there so hopefully if I do poop he won't know.

That is pretty bad. Ok - now pooping isn't the scariest thing. That is! haha

I don't know if I'm new...I started on Knot, moved to Nest and now on Bump. I have a 9 y/o DD and am now pregnant with DD2. I did not shat on the table. Kind of hoping I don't again but it seems to be a common occurrence. lol

I mostly lurk and have for a while but every once and while when I have something decent to contribute I do.

I didn't get the honor badge of pooping on the table with DS because he was breech and had a c-section. Hoping for a VBAC this time just to poop the table. My DH was super into the Bradley method book and was 100% mentally prepared for that.

That being said I had awful "both ends" food poisoning on the very first hotel room stay trip DH and I took together when we were 21 and he had to help me and deal with the clean up so I deemed him a keeper then and there. I honestly can't believe he stuck with the college girlfriend that put him through that much grossness. I must have been pretty hot at the time.

Also once he tried to squeeze out a fart as an answer to a serious question I had asked and he accidentially shat himself instead so I can hold that over his head for forever. Serves him right!

Not new but I usually only lurk...I have no clue if I pooped or not, never could bring myself to ask...I did, however, throw up ALL over my poor nurse while pushing! Felt so bad but she handled it like a pro!

Best thread ever. I'm not new. I did not poop, I don't think. My IV did pull out while the baby came out and I sprayed blood on everyone, which was gross. But it didn't hurt.

A few months ago my husband ran out to get me an enema and later admitted that he was totally freaked out that he was going to have to administer it for me. He's a good guy!

I am in tears laughing at this! Hello, my name is Kim and I am 12.

I intro'ed myself a few weeks ago but will do so again in case anyone missed it.

I have been a lurker on TB since I was pregnant with my DD - she will be 3 in April. We are expecting a DS this time around and we could not be more thrilled.

Unfortunately I had to have a c-section with DD, so I am hopping to VpoopBAC this time around.

To add to calikat's story, when DH and I first started dating and after some good "just started dating sex" (ahhh, remember how good that sex was?!... le sigh) Anywho afterwards I asked him to give me a big squeeze... well he must have squeezed too hard because I let out a huge fart. I can't believe he stuck around this long.
