We had our 5 month old pretty much sleep trained by 3 months, sleeping through the night. Then we traveled and it got all messed up (which I knew would happen).
I was following the Baby Whisperer nap schedule https://noobmommy.com/2012/02/e-a-s-y-schedules-cheat-sheet-4-sample-baby-schedules-from-4-weeks-1-yr.html
Now she's waking up at 4-5am every morning and starting her first nap at 6:30-7 -- totally screwing up any chance of getting a schedule!
I put her down at around 7:30-8 every night and give her about 3 naps a day....but it's pretty inconsistent in terms of when and for how long now.
Does anyone have a good way to help them sleep later? Or a better nap schedule to follow?
I don't think putting her down later will work...I have a feeling she needs more daylight as our apartment is on the ground floor and she doesn't get much light. But it's so cold here it's hard to take her out and about.
Any help is appreciated!!!!
Re: 5 month old sleep HELP!?!
I don't have any advice, but want to say I'm right there with you. LO is almost 6 months and has been a horrible night sleeper lately. He was up @ 4:30 this morning wide awake, didn't get him back down until 6. On top of that he is being a comfort nurser and wants to nurse every hour, on the hour at night it seems.
Hope to see some good advice... GL!
