Dressy clothes for DS

My brother is getting married in June, and I'm starting to think about what to have my boys wear. DS1 is 3, and DS2 will be 6 months old. I love the look of summer suits, seersucker, madras prints. I know to look at Janie and jack and jcrew, any other suggestions?

Re: Dressy clothes for DS

  • DS was 9 months old at our wedding and he wore a beige linen outfit from Gymboree. We had a June wedding as well and he looked adorable! I also get DS' Easter outfit from Burlington Coat Factory and they have great selections of name brand designers at great prices!

  • If you check Etsy they have some really cute seersucker/romper type outfits that you can even get personalized.  I bet you could find something so the two boys would match.  good luck!

  • This is exactly what I am looking for for my DS also.  We are going to a beach wedding in June.  Did you find anything in those places?

I am going to look now!

  • I am a huge fan of Kohl's if you have one by you. My BIL and SIL got married two years ago and May and my SIL had daisy's as her flowers. I happened to find a beautiful dress with daisy's on it for my DD. They loved it when they saw her. Plus, they always have great sales going on.

  • I second Janie & Jack, Gymboree, and maybe try The Children's Place. I know this time of year, they all have their spring dressy collections out for spring. You can usually find a coupon for TCP, too!

  • I got DS a really cute Easter outfit at old navy last year.

  • DS will not wear anything but sweatpants, so we are always trying to get creative for holidays and special occasions. I don't spend much on dressy clothes because most of the time, he won't wear it. I like the options in the stores you list... but he doesn't, so I stick with affordable (Burlington, Kohl's).

     Good luck!
