My little guy turns 2 next month. We have had a potty seat for some time now, but about 3 weeks ago at the end church he said "Mommy, potty" to me. I took him to the bathroom and sure enough, he peed on the toilet at church. I was shocked. After that, I thought well, if he's asking, let's roll with it. He went 3 more times that day, including a BM. When we're at home, we try to keep underwear on him and for the most part, we have had minimal accidents... they either happen when he's already telling us, we just haven't gotten there fast enough, or he's caught up in play. Here's the tricky part, if he has a diaper or pull up on, he won't tell us. He can't get his pants off or on yet himself, so we need to stay close to help this process along. We keep the bathroom door shut too because curious George just can't stay out of the sink. What would you do? Would you go cold turkey, including out and about, and lose the diapers (except sleeping time?) I can't believe he's doing this on his own...
