I have another dog question if you don't mind.
Shadow has a fatty cyst on her back. The vet looked at it, it's nothing to be worried about and if we ever have to put her under, they'll get rid of it. So, fine.
That thing just drained, though. The doc said that may happen, but I was never told what to do if it does.
So far, I washed it with a cloth and flushed it with a sterile nacl solution. Anything else? Should I cover it or leave it open? Let her lick it or come of shame her?

    It was a bit of white and then just clear. Maybe as big as...the first digit of my pinky. Not big at all. The opening of the thing is small, maybe a few millimeters. Looked like a popped pimple, really.

    She licked a bit and has now rolled up and is sleeping. I left it alone for now and will follow up with neosporin in the morning.

    Sounds good so far?
