DD conceived with no issues, but born at 33 weeks due to PPROM
loss #1-06/2010 loss #2-2/2011 loss #3-5/2011
07/2011 dx with a Balanced Translocation
9/2011-decided on domestic infant adoption 10/2011-signed with an agency and getting ready for homestudy
12-2012-after being with our agency over a year and only shown to EM once we decided to talk with RE about DEIVF. Thru a crazy sequence of events we decided to go for it and we picked a donor MUCH quicker than anticipated
1/13/2013-started lupron with anticipated transfer in mid Feb.
ER 2/15 resulted in 15 eggs/10M/6F with ICSI.
2/18 transferred 1-8cell and 1-9cell embie. Snuggle in little embies.
positive on HPT 6dp3dt. Could this really be IT?!?! Beta 14dp3dt=2440. U/S scheduled for 3/20.
IVF ladies-did ur Dr. check P levels?

I had my transfer this past Monday. I started estrace pills back in jan. and started PIO the evening of DE retrieval (5 days ago). They checked my estrogen levels on 2/7 and said they looked good.
My question is did you ladies have BW to check on your Progesterone level during your 2ww? My dr will check it I'm assuming when I get my beta done on 3/4. Is that standard procedure??

Re: IVF ladies-did ur Dr. check P levels?
The haven't check progesterone me since my first monitoring appointment. I received my requisition for my first Beta test yesterday. It does not include Progesterone.
DH assumes it's because they know I'm getting 1cc in the butt every night.
But I'm curious as well if this is the case for everyone.

Yes. I actually asked the same question last week on the IF board and was surprised how many ladies said their RE didn't check theirs post transfer and pre beta.
Mine checked mine 2dp5dt. I'm glad he did because it was only a 9! That allowed him to double my PIO and add crinone and they drew again a week later and it went to 34. My beta is Friday so all of this happened prior to beta. They never checked my estrogen levels after my final lining and b/w appointment prior to ET. GL!

I always thought it was standard to check P levels along with betas...but my experience during the 2ww varied by clinic:
Prior clinic (2 IVF's) = no testing during 2ww
Current clinic (2 IVF's) = they check P levels approx. 1 week after transfer. I felt somewhat reassured with this method because they can modify dosage if P levels appear to be too low.
Me: AMA, DOR, undetectable AMH, carrier of SMA, MTHFR homozygous C677T, high cytokines, low IGg B cells, Factor XIII V34l mutation, High Anti-Phosphatidylethanolmine, borderline hypothyroid and mildly insulin resistant.
MH: No known issues, aside from MTHFR.
Recommendations from RI: LIT, Humira, IVIG, Lovenox, Baby Aspirin, Folic Acid, Low-dose synthroid and Metformin.
Currently taking: Pre-Natal vitamins, Foltanx, Low-dose synthroid and Metformin.
When cycling also taking: Baby Aspirin, Lovenox, Humira and IVIG.
TTC since 7/11/09..with medical intervention starting in 2010, including 4 failed IVF's and 6 failed IUI's...only "success" was a chemical pregnancy in 11/2012 (credited to use of DE).
FET #1 (11th cycle) on 8/23/13 = BFN.
FET #2 (12th cycle) Transfer of last two (day 6) donor egg blasts on 1/22/14 = BFP, EDD = 10/10/14 (please stick little BOY!)
