So I'm 22 years old completely happy and in love with my husband. I'm wanting to have another baby soon but I have absolutely no sex drive...at all. I love my job and I love taking care of my husband and daughter. My stress level is low. I eat relatively good. I have been having constant light bleeding, light enough that a tampon dries me out. Its just enough to be irritating. I'm not sure if they are related. This is recent, my husband and I have been having sex after my daughter. These last three months more or less I have been feeling this way. We try porn, toys, everything. I even work in a sex shop. I have never had this problem before. I hope its not permanent. I have been wondering if anyone else has gone through this.

    You should talk to your OB/GYN. The constant light bleeding isn't normal. Could be a hormone thing. Also, POAS. You never know, you could already be pregnant.

    Did you post on the wrong board? I'm assuming you meant to post on the Nov. '13 board... If your LO is 3 months and you're still bleeding there my be something wrong, if your LO is 14/15 months and you're still bleeding there's definitely something wrong. 

    FWIW, I had no sex drive after I had DD. It turns out it was linked to my PPD and once I got on meds things got better. 

    Also breastfeeding and the pill also kill your sex drive so maybe that's why...

    Talk to your ob/gyn -- the constant spotting is likely an indication of a hormonal problem, which could be causing both the bleeding and the low libido.

    The past three months or so I've been getting my period about every other week & I FINALLY made it to the doc on Friday-- he seemed to think that my thyroid is probably acting up again (it's an issue for me) and that my TSH is elevated. Additionally, he suspects that my prolactin levels may be elevated as well. I had some bloodwork done and based on those results, we'll adjust my thyroid meds next week.

    And I agree with PP, take a pregnancy test, just in case. That was the first question they asked me at my appt on Fri.

    So sorry to hear of the frustration you are feeling.  I wanted to share some info that might help both of  you walk through this season.  The website (here) passionatecommitment.com has an FAQs and also offers a lot of honest facts on the problem you shared.  In addition, the book ?The Gift of Sex? by Dr. Penner can also be an encouraging read.  Please don?t hesitate to look into these options.  Well, you are in my prayers.  Keep us posted on how you are doing.  Ok?

    So I dont have insurance so I cant go to the dr. I took a test a couple weeks ago and it was negative. The bleeding has stopped. I think it had to due with me comin off my BC.
