type of thermometer

Hi all-

Can I ask you what type of thermometer y'all use for charting temps? I've been charting for about 3 months, and my temps never reach above 96. I'm between 93 and 95 usually. That seems really odd to me, unless I'm just a really "cold" person. :)

    My BBT is from CVS, but a lot of ladies on here recommend the Mabis BBT from Walmart.

    Right? I don't think this is accurate. Mine is from Walgreens. I will try Walmart, thanks!

    I saw a BBT thermometer at Fry's (Kroger's) last week that was $4.99.  I'm getting that one after AF if I get it this month :)

    Mabis from Walmart.


     

    bfp 1 - m/c 1.31.11 @ 10 weeks

    bfp 2 - baby born via c-section on 5.4.12 @ 37 weeks

    bfp 3 - blighted ovum/d&c on 4.13.13 @ 8 weeks

    bfp 4 - 3rd IUI, very late BFN with super low P, c/p

    bfp 5 - natural bfp while on lupron, baby born via RCS on 4.27.15 @ 39 weeks

    bfp 6 - surprise! baby born via RCS on 11.13.16 @ 38 weeks

    I use a CVS brand BBT. It was good for a little while and now seems to be on the fritz. 

    My first charting thermometer was also from CVS, but only went to .0 instead of .00. That one used to consistently give me temps in the 94 and 95 degree range. I was worried.

    My temps so far are in 96 range. I have Walmart brand. Its nice because it saves your last temp incase you record later.

    I have the Mabis. I ordered it from Amazon though. I had been using the CVS one and it was working alright but then gave me the same temp 3 days in a row and that made me nervous. I continued to use it for the remainder of the cycle though and then started the Mabis.

    I got mine from Rite Aid and it's worked great for me so far (only 2nd cycle using it).

    Underarm temps are always lower that oral temps; generally less by 1-2 degrees. Trying temping orally; it's much more accurate.
