My DS is turning 3 this week and I have been contemplating a LeapPad2 for him. Can you tell me if your little one has one of these and what you think?
I also have looked into the Tag reading system because he really loves to read.
I don't want to get him toys, I want something that we can 'work together' and teach/ learn, but it is fun for him.
He loves to do puzzles, play games on the iPhone and of course be red to, those are the only activities he sits for. Other then those, he is on the GO!
I will also take other suggestions!!
Re: LeapPad2 & Tag
My daughter is now 3.5 and she got hers for Christmas. She LOVES it and is learning so much. She knows her letters really well and is now able to write many of them, because of the Leap Pad. Even her teacher noticed a difference in some things.
My friend is a speech pathologist and she always talks about how great they are for learning.
We don't have any TAG.
BTW with Leap Pad you can get storybook apps and they can read along with the books, almost like a TAG system.
DD loves her Leap Pad! It's great for this age.
We were also given a Tag as a hand-me-down. Despite the fact that she really enjoys reading, it's still beyond her at this point.
