We put off buying one at first. We really wanted to wait and see how things would work once he was here. Those first couple months whenever we out on walks, to the store, etc I was pretty much wearing the newborn and had the toddler in a stroller/shopping cart, etc.
When DS2 was a few months old my dad came to visit and offered to buy us a double stroller - sweet! So we got the Chicco one since it fit with our infant car seat. We used it with the infant carseat until just about a week or so ago. He still tolerates the infant seat in the car, but in the stroller he wants to sit up and look out like a big boy.
It's pretty easy to fold up and maneuver considering its a double stroller. A mom in my IRL "mommy and me" group has it for her twin toddlers and still loves it.
We went with the BJ City Select & have been really happy with it. This is a tandem stroller. Right now we have it set up with one seat for DS & the car seat adapter to snap DD's car seat into. We also have a second seat that we can swap in when DD gets bigger. We can also get the glider board for DS to stand on at a later point
It fits in small spaces, is very easy to maneuver & assembles/disassembles/folds very quickly. It fits in the trunk of my sedan with room to spare. It has a hand brake, which I love & the basket is a decent size. The handle is also adjustable so if you or YH is taller, you can extend it so it's higher up.
Others prefer the BJ City Mini Double, which is side-by-side.
There's so many choices - I know we had the hardest time deciding - GL!
We had a Graco Duo Quattro. It's heavy as shiit but maneuvers pretty well. We also borrowed a Baby Trend sit-n-stand last summer and I freaking hated that thing. It's lighter than the double we had, but is SOOOOO hard to steer!!!
We got a Graco Ready2Grow double and while we haven't used it yet, obviously, we set it up and C is really comfortable in it. I'm so excited to use it!

I really liked the city select in stores, but couldn't do the $$$, so instead we waited til after J was born. After about a month I decided I needed a double, it was too hard to change A's diaper while wearing J in the baby carrier when we were out and about. Well we bought the combi since it wasn't as pricey as many other strollers out there and I like it. Fits through doors, 2 baskets, easy to maneuver. However, A has decided he doesn't like the stroller AT ALL. Sooooo......we are back to looking at sit n stands. Right now the double has been used a handful of times (best was our use at disneyland since both kids napped simultaneously ) but we don't forsee a lot of use. When we go out of the house A is really good about "helping" i.e. holding onto the frame of our umbrella stroller and I push J around. Or if DH is with me we just wear J and let A hold hands. I'm looking at the sit n stands mostly so he has a place to "rest" when he wants. We went to the zoo earlier this week and I took the double, he only road on it to go from parking lot into zoo and back out to the car. The whole time at the zoo he just walked with us and when his legs got tired rather than sit in the stroller he sat on the curbs or benches. We really like the Joovy ultralight, and are going to buy it in the next week or so. I've posted our combi and city mini single on CL though first since we have become a stroller hoarding family apparently.lol. Hopefully you find the perfect one! doubles are so tricky finding one that works for your lifestyle.
