Not a Good Week

We had a great time going for a bike ride on Saturday but by Sunday my sinus infection had kicked into high gear and DS was pretty sick too. I couldn't take my injection for my auto-inflammatory disease because I had an infection and the drugs knock down my immune system. Then AF came a 1.5 weeks early and to top it all off DS appears to have molars coming in. On Tuesday DS and I went to the Dr and we are both on antibiotics now for sinus infections. Daycare called yesterday telling us that DS won't eat or drink and he was only OK if someone was holding him. DH and I picked up DS, went home, dosed up DS with Ibuprofen then DS and I went to bed for 3 hours. DH ended up staying home last night to take care of us so he now needs to make up a day in his program. My mom is coming today to watch DS while DH and I go to DH's program all weekend. I am hoping I can make it through the rest of the week and weekend.

No real point to this post except I needed to whine to someone. Embarrassed Thanks!

    I'm sorry you all are having a rough time.  I just keep telling myself cold and flu season is almost over.  Hoping for fast healing soon to you and your sweet boy!

    Ouch! That's too much for one week. Since you probably can't drink on your meds, might I recommend a brownie sundae for dinner tonight?

    Mmmmm..brownie sundae! I definitely think that would make us feel better! Big Smile Thanks everyone for the kind words. I think DS and I are both doing a bit better today. I know we will get through it but being in the middle of it just stinks.
