Almost 2 under 2

Concerned about sharing a room. We bought a small cape code with option to finish upper level in Oct 2012. We haven't gotten there yet & it wasn't in 2013 plans either. Surprise we are prego and Baby 1 will be 2 in Sept with Baby 2 coming in Oct. I know baby 2 will be in our room a bit but then the kids will share a room. Anyone do this? Does the baby wake up your toddler or do they sleep through it? Concerned! Thanks.

    My DS is 2 and my DD is going to be 1 next month, they started sharing a room once dd started sleeping through the night at 5 months. There hasn't been any problems, so far. I lay dd down in her crib first and give her about 30 minutes, then put ds in his toddler bed.
