Hair care products for African-American infants

Can anyone recommend hair products to use on African-American infants hair that has a course texture? II'm having a hard time keep my daughter's hair moisturizer unless it's in braids or plaits. I have tried using Curlz but it's not really helping. Thanks.

  • how about coconut oil? my daughter's hair is curly, but very fine. i use a tiny tiny bit of coconut oil on her hair, and have read that it is excellent for coarser textures.

  • I would suggest suggest coconut oil, olive oil, and/or raw shea butter (rub in your hands until it liquifies).  I use all three in my daughters hair

  • If your keeping it natural which I would suggest either use earths necter only but it online there honey curls and mint conditioning shampoo and Mazzaini products work as well
