Twin Movement XP

I've noticed all day yesterday and today twin B isn't active at all, I can't feel her moving. Baby boy is extremely active.

Is this normal? This is the first week I can actually differentiate the two I'm trying to remain calm, but cold water and lying down is only making HIM more active.

How long would you let this go before you went in?

Re: Twin Movement XP

  • Not sure how far along you are, but I would call and see what L&D says.  My OB said with twins it can be really hard to differentiate and I've noticed as I've gotten further along that it's getting really cramped in there and I'm less sure who is moving.

  • If you are truly worried, I would call. It is always a good idea to call the OB with any concerning changes. But, I often felt this way only to go into an ultrasound and see that Baby B had wedged himself into a strange new position. Hope Baby B gets a little dance party going in there to give Mom a little peace of mind!

  • Call your doctor. They'll probably have you go get monitored. I thought I couldn't feel one of mine too, turned out they were facing each other and shifted more to one side, so it felt like only one moving.

TTC since May 2006. After 3 failed Clomid cycles, 2 failed Injectibles/IUIs, 2 failed IVFs and 1 failed FET, we moved on to adoption!

Last ditch FET resulted in BFP, and identical twin girls!
