Infantino Mei Tai baby carriers

Has anyone used an Infantino Mei Tai carrier? I'm thinking a mei tai would be a good carrier to use with this LO, but I really don't want to spend the $80+ that most cost. Infantino has some for $30-$40 and they get pretty good reviews on Amazon. I'm curious if any of you have tried one or have other suggestions for a less expensive mei tai?

Yes, they're fine. Safe, affordable, and a great way to try a mei tai without dropping $80 on something you don't know if you'll like. They're not THE best quality out there, but there's nothing wrong with them. I used one last time, and then lent it to a friend that used it a ton and liked it a lot.

I'd agree You can tell a difference in materials if you hold an Infantino and say a babyhawk side by side...but the Infantino is perfectly safe

I have one and love it! I've used it on two major international trips (one without my hubby to help with the baby) with long layovers and it was the only reason DD & I stayed sane on 12-14 hour flights.

I got one that was in a bag with used clothing from a friend. I took several practice tries at home before going out but I love it! My back and shoulders don't hurt at all. Honestly hardly feel the extra weight. I've never used any others but I did notice after wearing dd for about half hour, I had to untie the front and make tighter. I guess as you move around, lo kind of adjusts herself. But overall yes, worth the money :-)
