My husband and I have been trying to convince for over a year now. We've had a couple of times where we thought we were pregnant but weren't. I have pcos but as far as we know hubby's fine. We're just starting the whole doctor thing... didn't really know there was affordable options before now family doctor sent me to an endocrinologist for my pcos and they suggested Metformin.
Anyways I am hoping that I can learn from your experiences and hopefully find something helpful. Also just get some support... Not really anyone I can talk to...

Welcome to the board. I hope your stay is short.
You definitely want to have your husband checked out anyway. A semen analysis is one of the cheapest and least invasive fertility tests you can get. Even if as far as you know he's fine, with male infertility there are often no symptoms/indicators. It'll save you a lot of pain in the long run.

July 2012 - Tests with RE confirmed PCOS and annovulation
Me: 32 DH: 31.
B/W: good. SA: good.
November 2012: Paratubal cyst found during U/S.
January 10, 2013: Lap removed paratubal cyst and Stage 2 Endometriosis.
3 cycles of Femara + TI = BFNs
June 2013: Femara 2.5 mg, Gonal F Injects 37.5 IU, Menopur, trigger + IUI = BFN
July 2013: Femara 2.5 mg, Gonal F Injects 75 IU, Menopur, trigger + IUI = BFP!!!!
Beta 1 @ 11 DPIUI = 76. Progesterone = 27.3
BFP 8/16/2013 // EDD 4/28/2014

Tests: TSH (normal), Prolactin (normal), SA (abnormal)
Hysteroscopy (normal) and PCOS labs (negative/normal) 1/15/2013
2/1/13- HPT BFP but Beta Hcg was negative
Plan: Femara + Trigger + IUI in April if no real BFP before then Bloggy Blog!

IUI #1-3 - Low Post-Wash Counts - All BFNs
IVF #1 w/ ICSI: Long Lupron Protocol - Freeze-All Cycle due to Severe OHSS

Get him tested- it's WAY easier and then you'll know. Also go see an RE. Don't let your GYN treat you for IF.

Married October 2009. Me 29 H 28.
After 1 year of infertility, our little miracle was conceived via our 3rd IUI on May 5, 2013.
Holland Sophia was born Jan 24, 2014.
PCOS (anovulatory and amenorrhea) and hypothyroid.
Currently taking Metformin 1500 MG and Synthroid.
Prior HSG and DH SAs were clear.
Feb 2013 - Switched clinics/RE and starting from the beginning again with some modifications.
Current status: CD 3 appointment showed lining was too thick (11.5 mm). Endometrial biopsy scheduled for CD 11. Next steps will be based on results.
