I am seriously ready to have LO start sleeping in her clothes for the next day. I did that yesterday and it worked out so well but last night I didn't think of it and this morning she is a maniac.
For the last half hour she has been fighting getting dressed. I told her she needs to stay in her room until she's ready to get dressed.
She's currently laying in bed (she chose to climb in herself - I don't ever use her bed as a time out space) out of stubborness instead of getting dressed.
I thought the sleepless nights were going to be the tough part of parenting - these whining fits and tantrums are trying my patience so much! I am doing a good job (IMHO) of keeping calm and staying consistent and not reacting to the negative behavior, but I really don't see any forward progress despite doing the "right" things.
Update: she laid in there ten minutes then said she was ready to get dressed so maybe it did work being consistent! I just wish we didn't have to have the half hour tantrum to get there!

Re: Morning chaos
We've done it before with j when we knew we had to leave earlier than normal and it works wonders! You just grab them and go, after changing diaper or going to the potty pending on where you are with that
