Washed my BBT

I keep my BBT tucked in my pillow case so DS doesn't steal it, and when I changed the sheets yesterday, it went with them straight into the washer.

This was a brand new, used just once, thermometer, bought just a couple days ago to replace the last one DS stole. I'm sure that when we move, we'll find a lovely little stash of BBTs somewhere. It'll probably be next to the stash of spoons that are missing from the kitchen...

Would you trust it or throw it out? It still seems to work. Wish I had another one to compare temps with.

I would take the battery out and toss it in a bag of rice for a few days to try to dry out the insides. But I am cheap. :P

I would buy a new one.

My DS is obsessed with mine too. He likes to use it as a screwdriver. Smile

My DS does that. He likes to make it beep too, and turns it on and off over and over. And of course, he likes to pretend to take his temperature, and chews on it!

Uh, glad my DH doesn't do that - I temp vaginally. haha!
