I say go for it... lots of people eat honey during pregnancy. The only caution I've heard is against raw honey, but there have been a lot of people that have eaten that, too.

I do most of our shopping at the farmers market, so I have the raw stuff. And I would rather eat plain buttered cornbread than take the chance. And DH isn't home yet.

I understand the raw honey thing. While it's probably fine, I stopped buying raw when I got pg, too.

Oh my word, I hadn't even put two and two together that the farmer's market stuff would be raw. I mean duh. It just hadn't even occurred to me. And I've been eating it. I mean no sickness and baby seems fine but I'll probably stop now. I just love local honey and I always buy it to help with my allergies! I sure am glad that this post came up!
We said goodbye to our sweet Taylor Ashley on August 8, 2012.We lost baby Noelle on May 1, 2015
Mom to Cam and Al, now expecting baby number 3, August 2016. Praying for lots of sticky baby dust!
I have raw honey too, but I've just been eating it anyway. It's not like I'm eating it by the spoonfuls. I try to just heat it up in my eat first, instead of adding it after. I'm not too concerned.
