Stopping by from 2nd trimester for some thoughts to help my SIL who is also pregnant!!
She is about 37 weeks, baby has been in breech for a few weeks and has not turned on his own, Her OB reccomended scheduling a External version this week in hopes of turning him externally with use of an US and avoiding a C-section, but there are some risks to that because my SIL in so small in size, she has been doing some research in going to a Chiropractor that specializes in the Webster technique, in which giving her an adjustment my give the baby a little room to turn on his own and then she could go thru to her due date and have a Vaginal birth as she had with her first baby...anyone heard of these methods and what are your opinions?? Her other option is to just continue to carry and schedule a C-section at 39weeks...She is a bit freaked out so thought Id come ask you all what you thought?? Im a FTM at only 25 weeks along so I have no clue!! Im just upset that shes so upset
TIA

My baby was transverse all the way up to 37th week. My doc does do external versions for good candidates, so I was leaning towards that, but I heard about & found a YouTube video with stretches & positions you can do to help baby flip. I figured I'd try that first. The lady recommended doing them 15 minutes a day, but after one day baby is head down- confirmed by the doctor!
