MAMA! MY SWEET BO BABY FINALLY CALLED ME MAMA!!!!

I CANNOT TELL YOU ALL HOW ABSOLUTELY OVER THE MOON TO HEAR MY SON....MY BABY SON CALL ME HIS MAMA!!!

I thought I would cry! I did not! I just yelled like a large man "YES"!! picked him up and twirlled around!

I am finally a mommy. I finally heard the name that suits me best. I am finally mama.

Life is Good!

ETA:

I lost my mom years ago...In fact, I was not close with her at all. A mother has always been this vague notion to me. To be called a "mama" means I am family... It just seems and feels real now. I know, after 17 months it had not. I am so in love with Bo...to be his mama is something I will NEVER take lightly and will own the position with pride. FINALLY I am a mother...who cares that I did not have one.

    Oh that's so wonderful! I'm so happy for you!!! You described just exactly how I feel. I love Matt, he is my son but I don't exactly feel like a mama. Even less when he doesn't look ANYTHING like me and people always reminds me :[ .... oh crap, now I got depressed... do I have to bribe him to make him call me Mama?? Oh well, way to go Baby Bo!!! xoxo

    It's really the best sound ever :) I cried the first time DD1 said it, I know I will when DD2 finally does, too!

    It's so exciting to hear their sweet little voices say our name. It still makes me melt to hear M say "mum mum."

    So great Beca! It's such a wonderful sound. A's been saying dada for like a million years so when he finally said ma sounds I got really excited. But the moment he actually called me momma, like used it to address me, to call out to me ... that was a new feeling!
