This. I starting do the exercises that they recommended @ 32 weeks. I am not sure if they really worked or not but LO was heads down at my 38 week appointment. If LO was not I would have done an external version.
Sooo after hearing about one mom who had a breech baby and ended up having a c-section, the first line of action should be getting an ultrasound! See if there is anything going on internally that is causing the breech position - for the mom I mentioned, the cord was wrapped around her daughter's neck... not something really fixable. If everything looks okay, then it is probably something to do with your body. The Webster technique within chiropractic can be very helpful. Plus chiropractic care in general will help you have a better, more productive labor and delivery. You may also want to get a prenatal massage as this can help relax away tension in certain parts of your body that may be interfering with letting your baby flip.
If all else fails, remember this story... I have an older friend whose son was in the breech position until the day of his birth. She was in the shower in the morning, when he did a HUGE flip and turned from breech to head down! Fast forward 20-something years later and her son is a jet pilot in the military! Sometimes babies just have a mind of their own and will flip when they are ready.
