I have my first appointment with my OBGYN tomorrow. I will be 7 wks and 6 days. I am a nervous wreck today and probably won't sleep a wink tonight. Hoping for a wonderful appointment!

Even though I had an ultrasound 2 weeks ago and meet with the nurse practitioner last week, tomorrow is my first official appointment. I'm hoping for another ultrasound.

Probably no u/s but they should use the Doppler to find the hb. It's amazing! I'm bumping from my phone so I can't see tickets so I'm not sure of you are a FTM or not

I can't remember what they said last week. I know they usually do one at the first appt (my SIL also goes there), but since I had an early one (just u/s, due to early losses) I don't know.

I'd be happy though just to hear the heartbeat again (I saw/heard it 2 weeks ago)

From my experience, they can't find the HB with a Doppler until 10 weeks at the earliest. Some doctors won't even try until 12 weeks. Just fyi! I hope you get an u/s!

OP! I have my first appt tomorrow as well! It is just a consult and lab work though, so I don't think it is quite a legit appointment, but its the first one since the stick turned pink so I am excited!

I had my lab work a few weeks ago and all levels were great. If they are still following the same protocol as they did when I was pregnant with DD, then I should get an ultrasound tomorrow to date the pregnancy.

Good luck! My first appointment is Friday just for my blood work, and my first ultrasound is next week! I'm about ready to camp outside of my OB's office.
