How do you know if your fluid is leaking?

Since yesterday I've felt like little squirts coming out of me...I know tmi. It doesn't smell like pee and it's clear and it by little squirts. It's happened 3 times already.

    Call your Dr. You'll probably have to go in and have them test to make sure it's not amniotic fluid.

    You should go see your doctor because there is no way we can tell you if it's amniotic fluid or discharge or urine...GL.

    I have the same thing going on so I asked my doc this week and she said that I would have to come in and have it swabbed for them to know if it normal vaginal secretions or amniotic fluid. I told her I was concerned about this happening because during my last labor when they went to break my water it had already been broken and I definitely did not know it happened. During my first pregnancy the doc accidentally broke it during my first internal exam at 36 weeks so I know what it feels like. But the second time around I did notice an increase in fluids down there but didn't think much of it until during labor when they said it was no longer intact. I realize there is risk for infections and other things after the water breaks so I am worried that I may be having a slow leak again this time....

    LMAO!!! This is what I was thinking.

    Also, this is kinda gross, but I have *heard* not sure how true it is, but amniotic fluid will have a sweet smell to it? So take a whiff of your undies!

    I would definitely call and go in to get checked, to be safe.

    I am my doctor is concerned and said I have to go into labor and delivery because they can do more test on me than at the office.

    Sounds like that is a good move! I wouldn't take any chances. Try not to stress and worry. It might turn out to be nothing, but it is better to be safe than sorry!  Hope they figure out what is going on!
