Alright ladies, lets hear 'em!
Mine: WTF girl in my office who barely has her life together. How in the world did you think asking me if "this was planned" in the middle a completely different conversation was appropriate? I'm the one who's married and has been with DH for years, your boyfriends of the last 6 months I can't even keep track of!
Me: 28 DH: 33
DD: Born 7/30/13, 2 years old

Re: WTF Wednesday
DD #2 2 years old (08/17/11)
DD #3 born 08/29/13
This is a total WTF!!?!
This makes me very sad.
Hopefully they find out how awesome little girls can be too.
WTF self!
Waking up at 1:45 to comfort crying 11 month old is logical... not being able to fall back asleep until 5:30 am is not.
Ugh. Gonna be a long day.

"If you're still my small babe
or you're all the way grown,
my promise to you
is you're never alone.
You are my angel, my darling,
my star...and my love will find you,
wherever you are."
This is REALLY WTF?!?! I've never heard of a religion that prefers boys to girls (cultures, maybe). However, IMHO God loves ALL the little children, boy or girl and these people should too. (Sing it with me now!! Jesus loves the little children...)
Mine is: WTF Orange juice?! I bought 2 seperate half gallons on 2 seperate shopping trips. The first half gallon made me and hubby sick Monday night. The second half gallon made me throw up this morning, at work!!!! Guess we won't be buying that brand again.
Yeah, seriously. WTF.
Same exact thing happened to me this morning!! Not a single throw up and now at 16 weeks I'm throwing up, wtf?!
? Wtf. What religion is that?? Like PP said, I have heard of cultures, not religions.

My MiL did this after DS was born. She was always calling him her baby and how it was okay if he called her mama too. Um no. We had to have several come to Jesus talks with her before she cut it off and backed off.
Oh I feel you, we are moving next weekend. All my stuff is packed (and has been for months - our move got delayed) and the only things left for me to do is the last little things like the few dishes and pans still out and my toiletries, etc.
Hubby hasn't packed a SINGLE thing. I'm not doing any of his stuff, he's got a busy week ahead of him.

WTF FedEX? Do you have some sort of radar for when my son is napping so you can come pound on my door and ring the bell 14 times before leaving me with a barking dog and screaming, sleep deprive toddler??
Her husband is from Israel and they are both Jewish. The way she explained it to me was that "there are some things men can do in the church that women can't". I honestly have no idea what those things are but I'm very upset about their lack of excitement for their baby girl.

Patiently waiting for little brother!
WTF everyone else! I keep hearing over and over how its "so DH's child!" (based on US pictures). People won't stfu about it (IL's, my family, friends, etc). I actually cried the other night because nobody says anything about how its my child, too! Yes, yes, I know this is my child, just as it is also the product of certain interactions with the hubs, blah blah blah. I just don't understand people focusing on the hubs so much.
Wow...I have tons and tons of Jewish friends. I mostly dated only Jewish men for 10 years and I have never heard of this! They were all either American or British, not from Israel, but still! That is sad that they are disappointed.

I have relatives who are also Jewish and live in Israel and I have never heard of this. They had two daughters before having a son and I never once heard of them having issues with that. My uncle is a rabbi and my aunt is just as involved with their synagogue as he is.
So was her mother disappointed when they found out she was a girl? I'd love to see how that makes her feel.
This gender disappointment BS is starting to piss me off.
You sound like you have no idea what you're talking about and you should be VERY careful not say things like that. The Jewish religion does not favor one sex over another. Think or research before you speak.

Maybe you should read before you get nasty... She said that was how her friend explained it to her. It sounds pretty clear that she was admitting she had no idea what her friend was referring to. Doesn't sound like she needs to be very careful about anything she had brought up.
Yes. This. You really should re-read what the OP wrote and not assume she is jumping to conclusions about the Jewish religion. She very clearly stated in both posts that she made that her friend told her she was disappointed "for religious reasons" and her friend told her "there are some things men can do in the church that women can't". The OP was merely repeating what she had been told by her friend. I, too, was surprised because I have found the Jewish religion to be one that promoted equality moreso than others, but the OP was not giving her opinion...she was repeating what her friend told her. It sounds like her friend has no religious basis and may be just acting like that is why she is disappointed. But no need to shoot the messenger.

WTF Earthquake repair co-ordinators! Calling at 7pm the night before you want to be here at 7am in the morning is completely inconsiderate. Not only that but you want ALL the furniture moved out of our bedroom for the 2nd time (because you didn't do the job right the first time) so you can pull up the carpet and recheck the floor.
So you're suggesting the pregnant women helps her husband lug all the furniture without other available help due to lack of notice? Not happening.
Plus, it's our first sleep in for weeks together and even though we want the repairs finished since we had barely any notice, you can arrange a better time/day with us.
My Mom is doing that too, but its under the understanding that they're MY twins and her GRANDbabies. and also the understanding that when Mom and Dad are tired, the twins are heading to her house (she's our main support)
Dumb? Hahahahahahaa... Good one. That really hurt. I'm crying on the floor.
