exersaucer or jumperoo?

in Babies: 3 - 6 Months

What type of activity center would you recommend? An exersaucer or a jumperoo? And, if you have a specific one you like, please let me know. :)

Or, is it just a waste of money? What ages can babies typically use these? If it's only for a couple of months, then I guess I don't need to spend the money on it.

    I got my son a jumperoo about a month ago. It's a fisher-price one and he is really loving it! I have to put a pillow underneath it though because his legs are too short for it right now.

    We have both. We just let DS2 sit in the jumperoo the other day. At first I thought it was too bouncy but he enjoys looking at all the little animals and really gets his little legs going.

    we just got the Baby Einstein one and DD loves it - has to have a blanket folded underneath to support her legs. You have to make sure their legs are hanging but not too bent - it can be bad for their legs I have heard....

    We have and I've both. I think either one is totally worth it.

    We got the Baby Einstein Jumperoo one second hand, and DD loves it too! She isn't in there for very long, but when she is, she is happy and entertained! She jumps and stares and laughs... This one has an adjustable height thing, so on the lowest setting, her feet sit just about right.

    When we thought about the exersaucer, it just didn't seem like it would work as well for our LO because she is suuuuuper active, and loves to bounce any way... GL to you! I would totally invest in one, and it seems like the ones I saw at our (awesome) second hand store were in pretty good shape... maybe start there if you don't want to spend a ton on it. GL!
