6 months old! There's hope for you expectant MoMs!

Oh my goodness, where did the time go!? It truly feels like yesterday that I was watching my belly wiggle all over the place as my little ones fought for space. To all of you MoMs that are expecting your little ones - the beginning is SO tough but I can attest that 6 months out it is absolutely amazing. They smile and laugh at eachother constantly. They have their own little language or squeeks and coos and it absolutely melts my heart. I can take them more or less anywhere I want to go on my own and the hugs and kisses are enough to make any day better. Every day is turns into my new favorite "age" because they are constantly learning and growing and changing. Good luck to all of you lovely women and your sweet little babies. The trauma and struggles of pregnancy and birth are SO worth it! Also, I know this picture will post twice but I can't fix it and I want to show off my sweet babies.     Yayyy!  They are precious and I couldn't agree more.  I finally am starting to have those moments of "wow this is awesome!" And mine will be 6 months on Thursday!  They are so interactive and those laughs!  Best sound in the world!

    Thank you for sharing! I just showed your sweet post with MH and he said "I think we can survive 6 months". We're both just so excited to have our boys here but they still need to cook for a while. You give me something to look forward to after the initial hard times. Thank you!

    Your twins are adorable!  Thank you so much for posting this - my twins are 6 weeks old and it has been amazing, but also very hard.  I am looking forward to them looking at me and smiling and having fun with me and each other!

    TTC 10/2010 DX with PCOS 01/2012 Metformin 05/12.     So sweet! In the past few weeks, things have really turned a corner for us. They are really enjoying toys and are starting to smile and "talk" to each other. They are easily comforted, which makes for a much calmer household. And, last week, they just decided it was time to 11 hours at night! It was so rough in the beginning, but it's getting so fun! I can only imagine how great the next five weeks will be (six months for us!). Thanks for posting =).

    They are adorable!

    It's good to hear this - every time my mom says "so and so has twins", my response is always "good, they survived the newborn phase."  LOL!  It was rough with one, I am so nervous about having two!  Excited, but nervous!

    So cute!  I can't wait for mine to engage with each other more...right now they will hold hands when they are next to each other but don't really look at each other yet...but you're right, it just keeps getting better and better!
