Trying to figure out a schedule for my twins. They are 5 months old and I have never been so confused about feeding, napping, bedtime, etc. We just started solids (trying to do it at the dinner time feeding), but then I am not sure if we should be giving them a bottle at around 9-930. I want to try to get them on some sort of schedule. Can you please share yours. How old are your twins, when do they wake up, how many bottles/ounces do they take, how many naps and for how long, when do you feed their solids, what time do you put them to bed, when do you bath?
I feel like a terrible mom!
Re: Need some serious help!!
My kids are in daycare, so take this for what it's worth...
My girls are just shy of 4 months and we've asked the caregivers to work "on demand" with them for feeding and napping. They take 6 oz bottles and will have 3 - 4 between drop-off at 7 and pick up at 5:30.
They seem to be morning nappers and don't nap very long in the afternoon. I'm not sure if there are more children/more activity in the afternoon or if that's just a natural tendency. When I was home with them, though, I also found this to be more or less true.
They generally get a bottle within an hour of getting home. Initially, we'll be doing the solids at that time. We do bath night every other night. We start anywhere between 6:45 and 7:30, depending on the cues they're giving us. Unless they've just eaten, they get a bottle after bath and then are down for the night - between 7:15 and 8. One of ours has figured out rolling to her tummy and will give us a good 7 or 8 hours of solid sleep. The other does ok at about 4 - 5 hours and will take about 4oz of a bottle before going back to sleep.
I get them up between 6 and 6:30 for daycare.
6 months old.
7:30-8 wake and eat
10 feed then nap
11 wake and play
2:00 feed and nap
3:30ish wake and play
5:00 feed and cat nap
5:30ish wake and play
6:30 dinner of pur?es then play
7:30 bedtime routine of bath, feed and snuggles. Down for bed about 8.
Wake up to feed again about 3:30am and then right back down.
Babywise.
Swear by it!

You're not a bad mom!
My boys are just shy of 4 months actual, 2.5 adjusted. We are EBFing and not doing solids yet. We do everything on demand but follow a general eat, play, sleep routine.
They wake up between 7-8am and eat then we play for about an hour. We put them down for a nap as soon as they get fussy or start yawning. Usually they will nap for an hour-1.5, but lately they have been catnapping. Repeat all day. 730-8 starts bedtime and they are always asleep by 9 at the latest. They aren't STTN yet, but nighttime wake ups kind of vary for us.
We only bathe them twice a week. Warm washcloth the rest of the nights. We signal wake up time and bed time by giving them a body massage with lotion.
